This Privacy Policy explains what information LooThru collects, how we use it, and what choices you have. It applies to our website and the LooThru app.
Owner/manager account info: when you create an account, we (and our authentication provider) process identifiers like email address and basic profile details.
Organization and venue data: locations, bathrooms, configuration settings, and any details you add in the owner/manager portal.
Cleaning events and activity history: timestamps, bathroom identifiers, checklist completion, and related operational events. If staff provide a name in the no‑account flow, that name is recorded with the event.
Public QR code reports: issues submitted from the public QR code page. Reports are anonymous by default; we may store technical signals to help detect abuse (for example, coarse device/browser signals).
Website and app analytics: we may collect usage data (e.g., page views, button clicks, and similar interaction data) to understand and improve the website and the LooThru app.
We use information to operate the service (record cleanings, show status, and enable record downloads), provide customer support, improve reliability and security, and comply with applicable obligations.
We use third‑party service providers to run LooThru. For example, LooThru is hosted in the cloud on Microsoft Azure and we use Clerk for authentication. We also use analytics providers (such as Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity). We share information with these providers only as needed to provide the service.
We partner with Microsoft Clarity and Microsoft Advertising to capture how you use and interact with our website and app through behavioral metrics, heatmaps, and session replay to improve and market our products/services. Website usage data is captured using first and third‑party cookies and other tracking technologies to determine the popularity of products/services and online activity. Additionally, we use this information for site optimization, fraud/security purposes, and advertising. For more information about how Microsoft collects and uses your data, visit the Microsoft Privacy Statement.
We use Clerk authentication for the owner/manager portal (including a Google sign-in option) and take steps to protect data in transit. No system is perfectly secure; keep access limited to trusted users.
You can control what staff enter in the no‑account cleaning flow (e.g., whether names are used) and what gets displayed publicly on the QR code page. You can also request access to, correction of, or deletion of your information, subject to operational and legal requirements.
If you have privacy questions or requests, contact us at privacy@loothru.com.
